Welcome to the website of the Worcestershire Web Masters and Internet Group.

The Worcestershire Web Masters and Internet Group comprises Freemasons in the Province of Worcestershire who use the internet to support and enhance their Masonic activities.

The aims and objectives of the Group are to:

  • Promote the use of the internet in the Province. This covers all aspects of the internet, including email and the world wide web.
  • Provide experienced Masonic internet users, including secretaries and web masters, with a help and support network.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to those looking to develop internet-based services.
  • Host regular meetings and training sessions in support of the Province's on-line Masonic community.

The Worcestershire Web Masters and Internet Group's Website Approval Committee is responsible for the following:

This website contains guidance that should be followed by every Lodge and Chapter in the Province when developing a Masonic website. This will ensure all our websites meet the standard set by the United Grand Lodge of England and are therefore able to display a Charter Mark. As the guidance given on this website is compliant with that standard, it is also recommended to those producing websites that refer to other recognised Masonic orders, halls, and clubs and associations.

We intend to use this website to keep our members up-to-date with our latest news and details of our meetings. Our Group is based at Northfield Masonic Hall, although we regularly hold meetings at other venues in the Province. Please see the Events page for details of our forthcoming meetings.

We hope our website will give non-members an opportunity to find out more about us, learn about the work we are doing in support of the Province's on-line Masonic community, and provide further information should they wish to join our Group. If you would like to join our Group, or have any questions about our work, please don't hesitate to contact us.

If you experience any problems viewing our site, or have any questions about its composition, please contact us.
